About 3 years ago we started the No Veteran Left Behind Program.

It started with providing Food & Supplies to the VA Pantry in Savannah.  We were blessed to have received a grant from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation were there provided 250 Health & Comfort Kits to be given to those Veterans who needed it most. These were handed out by our Detachment to Homeless Veterans, Veterans struggling to maintain their home lives, Disabled Veterans, and to Veterans in Assisted Living Facilities. This program was such a success and the feeling we received from every Veteran was so much more than we expected, it was so rewarding that we wanted to continue to do more. 

This year, we were awarded 750 Health & Comfort Kits. The outreach went further than Savannah and Chatham County; we reached out to other organizations to assist us to get these kits where they were most needed. The outpouring was amazing. We had so many organizations that wanted to help us with our outreach, that it was very humbling.  Our goal for 2026 is to reach beyond our local area and reach out to 4,000 Veterans in need in the state of Georgia with assistance of Marine Corps League Detachments throughout the state. We are excited to continue this programs growth.
